PSX is a parking and security systems integrator providing solutions to a wide range of industries. PSX Houston is currently in need of a Senior Parking Technician. Work consists of installing and servicing parking revenue control equipment, access control systems, gate operators, telephone entry systems, automatic door systems and more.

The Senior Technician works with the PSX Account Manager to ensure that the project meets the specifications of the customer. This includes: project planning, scheduling, and material/equipment procurement.

On site, the Senior technician will be responsible for managing onsite technicians and subcontractors. Ensure projects are effectively executed within budgeted costs and time schedules. Ensure systems are fully tested and accepted by the customer. Responsible for completing end-user training, maximizing customer satisfaction, promoting safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects.

Technicians are scheduled to meet the needs of our customers. Our technicians spend approximately 90% of their time in the field, with 10% of their time at the office for supplies, safety meetings, and paperwork. This position is based out of the Houston branch and will serve primarily the greater Houston area. Some overnight and out of state travel for training certifications may be necessary. Work can be located outdoors or indoors depending on the project.

Candidate Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience with Parking Access and Revenue Control Systems (PARCS).  Candidate will be computer literate with proficiencies in  Microsoft Office, basic networking and troubleshooting skills. Possess with the aptitude to quickly learn new software associated with the systems PSX installs and services.

Candidate will be a strong team player, a leader who possesses mentoring skills and team building skills to facilitate a positive work environment; lead by example.


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Drivers License
  • 3 years of PARCS experience
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills
  • Professional demeanor, integrity, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently


  • Project Management experience
